ANDREA B. KAST is an attorney at Schutt, Schmidt & Noey. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Jacksonville University in 1994, and her J.D. from Florida State University in 1997. While in law school, she clerked for the Florida Department of Insurance.
After graduation from law school, Andrea worked as an Associate with the law firm of Hiday & Ricke, P.A, located in Jacksonville, Florida. While at Hiday & Ricke, P.A., she practiced in the areas of collection, creditor’s

rights, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and subrogation.
She was an active member of the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association. In 2003, she served as co-author of “Collecting a Civil Judgment,” Lorman Lecture Series. In 2004, she served as co-author of “Collecting a Civil Judgment, Developing Definitive Strategies and How to Discover Assets”, NBI Lecture Series.
Andrea is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Jacksonville Association of Women Lawyers and Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel.
Andrea's primary focus is in civil trial litigation. Her main areas of concentration include personal injury/wrongful death, insurance coverage issues and general civil trial litigation and collections.
Andrea and her husband Rob have one son.
